High Rack Warehouse construction – HRW
High rack building
The high rack building is the outer (visible) part of a HRW. It is made up of a steel rack construction, a façade and a roof.
- Steel construction It plays a central role as a central element of a HRW. Its basic role is storage of packaging units in the rack system and in addition ensures stability of the building.
- Façade It is made up of well-shaped façade panels, carefully chosen materials with state-of-the-art technical characteristics.
- Roof We also developed a system for flat roofs that enables better use of space with a smaller inclination.
HRW transport system
The characteristics of the transport and manipulation system (of goods internally) are:
- automatic identification,
- weight control of the transport storage unit (pallet),
- transport from racks to an appropriate position,
- fully automated procedure;
Warehouse management system
Regardless of the type of warehouse and technology, the basis to having a well managed, high-quality and modern warehouse, is a computer system for its operation. The system enables us to:
- configure and optimize the warehousing,
- communicate with the mainframe computer system (ERP, e.g. SAP),
- set up the transport storage units (pallets),
- manage all internal movements of material,
- delegate tasks in accordance with priorities,
- have access to information on content and quantity of every pallet in the warehouse in real time,
- keep an inventory of the warehouse,
- optimize the warehouse when it is not operational (preparation of pallets for the next day),
- be informed of all operations in the system,
- have a WEB connection with a WMS provider;
