This Year, Trimo once again amongst the Finalists of the Slovenian Innovation Forum

Trebnje, 27th November – On Tuesday and Wednesday, 1st and 2nd of December 2009, the 4th Slovenian Innovation Forum will be taking place at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre. The best business innovations, inventions, new technological solutions, and innovative enterprises, will be introduced there. Trimo’s new products, 'Qbiss by trimo' and 'ArtMe', were ranked among the best products entered in this competition and, out of all innovation entries, received the highest number of points. The modular facade system, 'Qbiss by trimo' is also nominated for a special Slovenian Innovation Forum award.
There were around 100 entries participating in the selection for the best Slovene innovations. These were judged by a panel of specialists, consisting of 61 respected Slovene specialists in engineering, business studies, patents, representatives of Slovene innovators, and four foreign consultants.  They chose 30 of the most innovative enterprises, individuals and Research and Development institutions, which will be presented on 1st and 2nd of December at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre. The key judging criteria were: useful value, innovation, potential importance or impact, relevance, practical execution, market potential, social-economic impact, and suitability.

'Qbiss by trimo' and 'ArtMe' were proudly placed among the best Slovene innovations and will also be presented at the Forum. The formal opening event and awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 1st, at 10 am. The awards for the best innovators and innovations will be presented by the Minister of Economy, Matej Lahovnik PhD, and JAPTI CEO (Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investment) Igor Plestenjak.
