ArtMe – Best Technology Award
Trebnje, 17th March 2010 - ArtMe is the winner of the competition »Best Technology Award«, organised by the Slovenian tool and die development centre, TECOS. Based on an open-call for tenders to support the national innovation system, the competition is organised as part of the project 'Technology and innovation node for complex systems and innovative technologies'.The committee received 14 entries. The assessment was based on the following criteria:
- technical and technological aspect
- commercial and economic aspect
- environment-friendliness and energy-efficiency.
Dr. Viktor Zaletelj, is the 'father' of the ArtMe innovation, and the head, and manager, of the development project
Upon learning that ArtMe won, Dr. Viktor Zaletelj said: »The award represents recognition of our development work and its practical application in the form of the product ArtMe, expressed by a broad range of professionals in the area of new technology development in Slovenia. I will gladly make use of the award and participate in the international specialist conference, because new knowledge and acquaintances are of crucial importance in the development of new innovative technologies. The latter can establish a company's greatest competitive edge. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in the development of ArtMe and congratulate them on the excellent work.«
