Past development projects
The development of important products and technologies in Trimo began very early:
  • Thermo insulation panels with polyurethane filling (1974)
  • Fire-proof panels filled with mineral wool ( 1987)
  • Containers ( 1989)
  • Pre-fabricated residential houses (1995)
  • Trimoval TPO Dom roof coverings(1998)
  • Trimoterm panels with hidden fixing (2000)
  • Trimoterm FTV angle closures(2001)
  • Light building cabins for mobile telephony
  • Sound-absorbing fence system (200

Recent development projects

Panels for light roofs − Trimoterm SNV 3L. The system of light roofs with Trimoterm SNV – 3L panels is used for roofs with an inclination exceeding 3 degrees. Light roof panels are intended for markets with favourable climate conditions where the load of snow is lower. The wider modular width of the panel – 1100 mm – enables optimal transportation and faster assembly.

Panels for flat roofs - Trimoterm SRV. Trimoterm SRV panels for flat roofs are suitable for roofs with smaller distances between supports (for ex. High-rack warehouses), that is where the potential load of snow is smaller. The panel width is 1000 mm. Minimal roof inclination is 2 percent.

Complete solutions for high-rack warehouse. The use, static and technological optimisation of steel constructions and the façade systems is one of the most optimal, aesthetically completed, and safe and complete solutions in the range of high-rack warehouses. The concept solves timely the optimal input and output of materials reduces storage time and enables optimal use of storage space.

Segmented façades. The system of segmented façades enables an extension of façade panel use outside the typical orthogonal forms as we can capture most of the modern architectural solutions for façades with them – convex and concave. This façade system fulfils the demands of the newest architectural trends in designing façades and the wishes of designers and investors.

Modular sports facilities. As a complete novelty on the market we have developed a new modular concept for sports centres suitable for different needs and locations. A sports modular facility for sports, as a complete solution, is a compound of several basic modules for different sports, accompanying facilities and other purposes. The sports modular facility functions according to the principle of modular composition in which individual independent modules form a sports facility. The sports modular facility is a sports centre, in a small or middle scale, which can host up to 1200 spectators.

E-construction.  We have finished the second phase of the research project 'E-construction'.  This creates and introduces an integrated line of new technologies and uses the results from current research projects into construction information technology for use in construction projects by Trimo.
The key areas of development in this project are management, construction oversight and control from a distance.  This includes automated monitoring and recognition of building work, with the support of 3D, 4D and 5D models of the building; document management, distance support and cooperation, identification and tracking of material resources for construction and introduction of project portals. The newly developed integrated multi-project environment will enable a more compatible, faster and more efficient design and construction and this way enable a high quality and competitiveness.

qSPAI. The results of the qSPAI project are new methods, tools and processes for increasing quality in light building - panels production. These processes are available and can be implemented in a reasonable time span. This enables an easier and more effective management of the production process and a reduction in the number of mistakes and rejects which affects the increase of efficiency. The development of indestructible quality methods for light building - panels is an innovation as to-date these methods do not exist in the market.

Trimo H2O Expert. This program is intended for calculation of the roof drainage by gravity. The tool is designed to minimise the possibility of mistakes in the calculation and also considers changes in the intensity and form of precipitation. Drainage planning with Trimo H2O Expert offers facility users – with consideration of the real state of precipitation and all the criteria for effective roof drainage – more protection from water intrusion into the building. Trimo chose this program due to the current theme of climate change and the changes of precipitation intensity that are connected with this. Together with our partners we wanted to establish a basis for new legislation in this area with this program.

Trimo Designer Acad. This program tool is intended for cladding design for different Trimo systems, for making lists and bills of materials, for the documentation preparation for production. The programme package includes Trimo type details which are constantly developed and then added to the database. The use also increases design efficiency, reduces the time for product implementation (engineering) and the possibility of mistakes.

Trimo EcoSolutions.  We have developed a family of environmentally friendly products and technology that ensures a healthy future for our environment and future generations.
The family is comprised of: Trimo EcoSolar PV -  Trimoterm roof panels with integrated photovoltaic cells that use solar energy to produce electrical energy, Trimo EcoSolar AIR – Trimoterm roof panels with an integrated air layer that heats with the help of the sun's energy rays, and ensures additional heating for the building, Trimo Energy Panel – façade for exceptional energy savings and Trimo Clean Panel – a façade with a hydrophilic panel surface from which dirt can be simply washed off by rainwater, which keeps the building looking clean and attractive and with a better anti-corrosion protection.
