Design Engineering
Every construction starts with a properly designed project – with the first sketch on paper that leads to a complete solution. It is the key stage in which the conditions that are set by the location, urbanism and consent-givers have to be aligned with the buyer’s wishes and demands.Trimo’s design team that is comprised of approximately 40 architects, experts in statics and civil and mechanical engineers makes design plans quickly, professionally and with an ear to the customer. Being an engineering and design organisation that works fast internally and has a multi-branched external network of partners, enables a simultaneous design of a large numbers of projects, on different size scales, with different concepts and complexity levels.
We work closely with architects starting at the stage with the process of creating a concept for a building. Good communication and simultaneous implementation of individual phases ensures high quality work realisation and a completion of projects. Detailed knowledge of technological design processes and steel construction assemblies, create simple, effective and rational solutions.
In Trimo we are experienced specialists in designing:
- Commercial and business facilities;
- Industrial buildings and production facilities;
- Warehouses and high-rack warehouses;
- Tourist or food service facilities;
- Buildings with general social meaning – sports centres, educational and cultural facilities;
- Airport facilities;
- And other buildings in compliance with the highest standards and wishes of the customer.
We control the global market by recognising design in accordance with the prevailing world standards – European EN standards, Russian SNIP, American ASTM, German DIN, etc. We design complete projects or parts of a project according to individual phases. This way we can simultaneously prepare an idea, or solution or cooperate in the implementation of the design documentation (PGD, PZI, PDI, etc.).
We are proud of our achievements:
- European Award for Steel Construction 2005; European Convention for Constructional Steelwork 2005 (ECCS) for the Amusement, shopping and business centre Portoval
- Golden Kiwi Award 2003, second award for the project on the shopping centre Europark Maribor.
- European Award for Steel Construction 2007; European Convention for Constructional Steelwork 2007 (ECCS) for the building Trimo Development-Innovative Submarine.
- Structural Engineering Building Winner − Golden Kiwi Award 2007 for the project: Yerevan airport in Armenia.
