MIPIM 2012 award for Best Industrial&Logistics Development recognises new McLaren Production Centre

Cannes, 8 March 2012 – McLaren Production Centre that is clad in Trimo's modular façade system Qbiss One received the award for the best industrial&logistic Development at the most prestigious international investment-real estate fair MIPIM 2012. The most innovative, ambitious and interesting projects from all over the world competed in eight categories this year. In the category the »best industrial&logistic Development« Mclaren Production Centre competed together with the projects Distribution Park Dutra from Brazil and Lavoisier from Belgium.

A professional jury and the visitors of the fair equally decided on the winners. Separately, on-line voting for »People’s Choice Award« was organised and McLaren Production Centre also won the award in its category.

We, at Trimo are proud of our co-operation with McLaren, since the modular façade system Qbiss One is used extensively as both the interior and exterior facade of the 32,000 m2 Foster + Partners-designed manufacturing facility.

The MIPIM fair is the largest international real-estate fair for companies and agencies offering projects as well as for potential investors searching for new opportunities.
