With The Craziest Idea towards a survival course in nature

Trebnje, 28 July 2010 – The Craziest Idea is the internal Trimo competition, with which we like to encourage innovative, different, and unconventional thinking from our employees. For her idea, last year's winner was awarded with a survival course in the wilderness.
She spent 3 days there, and summed up the experience with the following words:

“Survival in the wilderness is anything but easy. This is because the solution depends on the correct strategy, good orientation, appropriate selection of shelter, food and water supply, good cooperation between fellow sufferers, and finally, on our knowledge, good luck and, of course, on a very sharp knife. In the intensive course in the forest (location: Romškova pečina) and by the Kolpa river (Radenci – Breg – Damelj), we were introduced to different survival skills, which can be helpful in difficult situations; how to find water, make fire, cross the river, recognize and properly react when seeing wild animals. We experienced nature and life by the Kolpa river in its most rough and exhausting way, but we survived and learned a lot.”
