European Model of Business Excellence – EFQM
Since 1997 we at Trimo have been implementing processes for improving business excellence in accordance with the European model of Business Excellence of the EFQM.It is a practical tool that enables companies to evaluate goals achieved in the areas of key financial results, customer and employee satisfaction and social responsibility.
We also evaluate approaches with this model – factors in the area of management, policy and strategy development, employees, resources, partnerships and all processes – to be able to recognise opportunities for learning and improving operations easily.
Since 2007 we have been passing the concept of business excellence on to our companies in Slovenia, Serbia, Russia, Croatia and other associated companies


European Award for Management 2007
In 2007 Trimo was the first Slovenian company to receive the European Award for Business Excellence in Management, which is awarded by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and thereby became one of the companies acknowledged by the foundation as an example of good European practice.
This way the received award complemented the Recognised for excellence – awarded by the EFQM in 2004.
